My first lesson

My first lesson start this Monday. Our class has 9 students, just a right size for the class. It’s only an introduction for the course outline and let’s us know each other. We all come from different careers, like teacher, sales, teller, students, merchandiser and nurse, interesting combination.

Just one of us is doing some part time job for bridal make up. Most of us have no experience before, so the teacher said it’ll be very challenging for us. I think it’s a challenge for her too, since she’s the one to teach us all the skills for the first 2 courses.

The lesson went by so quick, the last hours the teacher talked about the make up trend among Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. It’s interesting that Japanese like a more pinkish tone for their foundation whereas Korean people like an earth tone for it. As most of U might already know, Hong Kong people tend to follow the Japanese trend. But for most Hong Kong people, our face is a bit yellow in tone, so it’s not good if we use the pinkish tone foundation, cause it will make you look ashen. So be careful when you choose the foundation for yourself, not just follow other, everyone needs something unique.
