MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Sanrio Global Consumer Products to create a Hello Kitty color cosmetics collection.

After sun care

It’s been very hot lately. Most of my friends go to hit the beach or pool to cool down a bit. And many of them get sun burn after the sun exposure. Most of them will ask me what to do after they got burn. Because they really want to get rid of the redness, pain, swelling, and even blister. Peeling usually follows several days later. The pain of sunburn is usually greatest between 6 and 48 hours after exposure.

If you don’t want to get burn, here are some tips:

• Try to avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. when its rays are strongest
• Use a sunscreen with SPF of 15 or greater at all times. Use a waterproof product if swimming or exercising and reapply according to directions.
• Beware of cloudy days, you can still burn then
• Don’t use sunlamps, reflectors, or tanning beds. They produce high levels of ultraviolet radiation!
• Be informed about any medications you are taking and their side effects. Many types of medications react badly to sun exposure.

If you are already got the sun burn, here something that you can do:

• First you must stop the burn
  • Use cool wet compresses for first 48 hours.Not to use ice.
  • Cool oatmeal baths may be helpful
  • NO lotions or petroleum jelly in the first 48 hours!! These hold in the heat!
  • You MAY use Aloe Vera Gels in the first 48 hours
  • Apply moisturizing lotions after 48 hours
  • Aspirin taken as directed on the label may help ease pain
• Seek medical attention if fever, fluid-filled blisters, dizziness or visual disturbances are present

 

 

Hair styling products

Hair styling is part of the imagine styling. Last week lesson actually mention about the basic equipments that you need for hair stylish is more than you can imagine. From different type of brushes, combs, hairs pins/clips, hair dryer, curlers/rollers, straightening iron, spray, mud or gel. What I need to get is the straightening, cause I already got the rest of the stuff. I’m having really thin hair, so I don’t need to use the straightening iron, it just make my hair even thinner.

I always travel with my gas curler and some Japanese rollers. It’s so convenience that U just can set your hair within 30 mins time and you can do your make up at the same time. Once I saw some television, the hostess even said she always the curler at home and keep it on her hair when driving. By the time she arrive the broadcast place, the hair just look great at that moment.

Lesson 3~Long class……

Last night our make up class last till 1130, total four and half hours and I’m the 2^nd one leaving the class.

At the beginning, we start doing the whole face from make up base to powder with another classmate. Each of the students only allows 15mins for this task. All of us able to do it within this time limit. But not all the outcomes are satisfied to the teacher.

Afterward it’s the time for the teacher to do the demonstration for one of the student. The eye shadow this time is using a pinkish purple and shiny gold color. The color is for matching the traditional Chinese wedding gown. The cheek is using an orange/pinkish blush and match with the pinkish lips ‘color.

 

After my practice, the teacher still not satisfies my shading on both side of my face and the eyeliner is not sharp enough. I better practice some more before the next lesson.

 

When we wait for the teacher gave us all the comments, it’s already after 11pm. Then she told us about the details for our assignment. It took her another 30mins to let us know the details and the requirements. The whole assignments contain 2 parts, one we have to do a make over for either, bridal (Chinese/Western)/evening gown. Everyone need to set a theme for the wedding, and do research for the information’s for wedding with 1500-2000 words report. I haven’t write that numbers of report for son long~A bit scary~!!

23rd June

Tonight I’m having make up class again. This time will be doing the make up for Chinese wedding gown. I’m thinking weather the teacher’s going to use red, pink or orange for the main color. Let you know later~!!

 

I saw a few phrases that really catch my eye in Chinese last night. I translate it into English with the same meaning. Just want to share in here:

The pore solid essence

Here’s another thing that I try lately, the pore solid essence from the Jill Stuart. When I saw it on photo, it’s not so attractive to me. When I opened the box and took it out, it just look lovely to me~! You only need to push a little to open the lid, it’s so nice when you are having gel nail like me. The box is so handy and nice to keep inside even a small hand bag.

The texture of this essence is quite soft with mild fruity smell. I put it on top of my make up base. The effect is quite good; it can even your skin and reduce the oil secretion. It can last for a few hours. After the whole day, you won’t feel your pore blockage by this product.

I love this product and I’m carrying this inside my bag everyday since the day I tried it out. I’ll try for a period of time see weather it can reduce my pore size or not.
